During this project each class produced a play to preform in front of an audience. We went through many steps to get to our final piece. We first were in groups of two to create an idea for a play. There was two jobs, one for each person, for them to do, scriptwriter and story boarder. I worked with Tim as my partner and he was the scriptwriter while I was the storyboarder. The scriptwriter wrote the script while the storyboarder would draw out what was happening in each scene. Our play was called Spiked. Once all of the groups, which there were 12 of, presented their ideas we took a vote on the top 6. Once we completed that the top 6 plays would become groups of 4 to advance everything about each play. There was two scriptwriters, a chorus writer, and a storyboarder, which was my job. After that was finished we presented our ideas, this time they were more refined. When that was done we voted on which play would b the one our entire class worked on. For my class we chose the play of Benny and Abby which later on would be called Broken Past. After that the class was split into different jobs to do, actor, director, backdrop, sounds and lighting, etc. we worked on the play to get the finished product. I worked in backdrop with Kimi, Udeema, and Everett. The entire class had a deadline in two to three weeks for us to get everything done which was very difficult, but we all pulled through. Once everything was done we preformed in front of the school, judges, and parents. Doing this project was a blast and I hope the freshmen next year are able to do this when they get here.
